Lions and tigers and bears. Oh shit, Earpers! It’s true. Wynonna Earp is renewed for season 3. Which means more badassery and more sending evil shit back to hell. Could there be a better piece of news on this fine Monday?

How was Wynonna Earp renewed for season 3?

The announcement, which was met with cheers for days, was made during the Wynonna Earp San Diego Comic-Con panel. And it only made it all the more sweeter, because fans got the chance to celebrate the news with the cast of the show, the showrunner Emily Andras and Wynonna Earp comic book creator Beau Smith.

Although the show is still in the middle of season 2 (episode 8 airs this Friday, July 28), SyFy and IDW Entertainment decided to deliver the news early. Which is great for us, the fans, because now we can truly enjoy everything that season 2 throws at us because we know that there will be a season 3. And on top of that, SyFy’s Canadian production partner Space announced that they, too, have renewed the show. Which means that Americans and Canadians alike will be able to see more of Wynonna Earp come 2018.

What can we expect from Wynonna Earp season 3?

What to expect from the show’s junior season? It is hard to say, since, like I mentioned before, the show’s 12-episode second season is still airing all through the summer. However, there are things that we would like to see in season 3, based on the events that are happening on the show right now.

First of all, we would definitely like to see Wynonna, Waverly, and all their friends band together to raise Wynonna’s little one. Wouldn’t that be just perfect to watch? Doc trying to talk Wynonna into letting the little Earp wear a hat. Dolls teaching the kid how to be a sexy fire-breathing lizard. And Waverly calling the little one all kinds of cute names. The possibilities are endless. Additionally, we would also be down for a real Wynonna and Dolls or Wynonna and Doc romance. And of course, many more bad-ass moments for all the characters.

Are you as excited as we are that Wynonna Earp got renewed for season 3? And what do you want to see happen on it? Let me know in the comments below or on social media. And tune in on Fridays to watch the rest of Wynonna Earp season 2. Everyone involved with the show attributes the renewal to the amazing fans Wynonna Earp has. So let’s show them how thankful we are!
