For those who were fans of Will & Grace, this day is truly a joyful day, since NBC just announced, that Will & Grace is officially renvived and renewed for another season. These Will & Grace renewal news come straight form NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke, who made these news public during the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour.
To make these Will & Grace renewal news even sweeter, NBC put together a video to commemorate this moment. The video, that you can see below, features some of the show’s best moments and an epic voiced over. “It was a television phenomenon. Winning 16 Emmy awards. And now, do we have an announcement for you..” told the voice in the video followed by text “Will, Grace, Karen, Jack back together again. Coming soon.”
These news come about a month after the show’s star Leslie Jordan mentioned that NBC had renewed the show in a radio interview. However, since the network itself made no comment about Jordan’s statement and Jordan’s Will & Grace co-star Debra Messing tweeted, that nothing was yet confirmed, we were kind of left wondering, if the Will & Grace renewal will actually be happening. Well wonder no more, because new episodes of Will & Grace will be coming to NBC in the 2017 /2018 TV season.

Well according to Deadline, it will be a 10 episode run with all our favorite Will & Grace stars coming back. So get ready to see what Will, Grace, Jack and Karen are doing in 2017, because the main stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Haye have already signed up to do the new 10-episode Will & Grace season. And, since even the show’s creators and producers Max Mutchnick and David Kohan are on board, we can expect the Will & Grace renewal to be just as good as the original episodes.
Will & Grace tells the story about two best friends Will and Grace. Will is a lawyer and gay, while Grace is an interior designer and straight. They, together with their friends Karen and Jack, face the everyday trials and tribulations of living in New York, dating and figuring out life.
