For a while now fans of CBC’s Heartland have been wondering if there will be another season of their favorite show. Or if season 12 is the show’s last. And this worry stemmed from the fact that the twelfth season of Heartland was only given 11 episodes instead of 18 which was the length of all the rest of the Heartland seasons except the first one. Well, the wait is finally over because news just broke that Heartland is, indeed, getting another season. That’s right, Heartland season 13 is happening, friends!

The announcement was made by none other than the show’s lead actress Amber Marshall who plays Amy Fleming on the series.

During her announcement, Amber not only told us about the fact that CBC had renewed Heartland for season 13. But also thanked fans for their continuous support. Because let’s face it, 13 seasons is a long time to love a show. But if you are a true Heartland fan like us, then you know how easy it is to love this wholesome family drama.
What we know about Heartland season 13
Since the announcement of the renewal just went live, not much is known about Heartland season 13. We do know that the season will consist of 10 episodes, which, although is one less episode than season 12 is still great news. Yet, beyond that we don’t know if all your favourite actors will be back for the new season. Or what stories will be told during it. But what we do know is that we can expect another amazing season filled with family and horses. After all, those are the cornerstones of Heartland. And those are also the two things that make so many people fall in love with this series so quickly.

But while we wait for more news on Heartland season 13, let’s remember that there are still two episodes left in Heartland season 12. And I have a feeling that these two episodes are going to inform us quite a bit about what we can expect to see in season 13.

I Love Heartland!! I watched it for years, until it left the network and went where I was unable to watch it anymore. I’ve just found it again, Season 12 on UP channel. I heard that it will be back for season 13 and am looking so forward to enjoying the wholesome, well written, great acting great show. Thank you for making it available in Michigan again to view.

We love Heartland…..we have started to watch Season 1 again as we have finished watching Season 12. It is a great family show & shares ranch life with us all….prompted me to start horse-riding again! We really would love to visit the Canadian sites where filming is done. Please keep the show going!!!

It is truly a blessing that there is such a wholesome TV series that we can enjoy.
I love it so much that I could actually start watching it from the beginning and still thoroughly enjoy each season.
The ranch life and it is quite educational, learning about the care of all of the horses. So much about horses that I never knew about. It is very interesting. So special.
I just wish that some of the original characters were still included… We don’t know what happened to Mrs. Bell, Scott, Caleb, etc. But that will never stop me from watching this wonderful show. Thank you so much for giving us the 13th season! Yay!
You know what I would like to see by the end of Heartland? I would like to see Lou finally happy and settled in a relationship. She deserves to finally find Love. I love this show! I binge watch on Netflix and when I get to the end I start over when I can find nothing else to watch. Absolutely love this show and tell everyone I know about it. Great family show. I am sad it looks like it is winding down with only 10 episodes this season. I will miss this show when it is over.
This is a fabulous show. Great actors and writers. I binged watched on Netflix all 12 seasons in the UK. I hope that there are many more seasons to come. My favourite characters are Jack and Lisa.
We hope that Heartland will not run out of material. In our opinion, there has not been a disappointing episode. In fact, when intending to watch only one episode, we ended up watching up to three episodes. It is a great family program, the acting is superb, and the scenery is outstanding. We hope that the actresses and actors don’t leave for another series. We hope to see a Season 14 and more. It continues to be the our most favorite series. It’s quality and that’s lacking in most other series. Thank you for this heart warming program. Please keep it up.

Don’t know about any specific date, but usually UK gets the newest season of Heartland a while after it finishes airing in Canada.
Heartland is such a holesome show and it makes you feel as if your a part of the family there and so much emotional situations …i know my emotions have ran over quite a bit with some of the situations they have had …kind of hits home a bit …but tim has to keep his nose out of everyones buisness because he reminds me of a nosey snobbish matchmaking busibodied woman at times but i give the show a 100% thumbs up and hope it goes on for many years to come …i am binge watching the whole series now on netflix and am at season 10 and have 1 more to see on netflix til i have to wait for season 12 to get there please keep this series going for a long time to come …its is what the world needs on tv …moreso than the criminal minds or ncis or snapped etc …keep em coming folks …..

When can you we see heartland season 13 play in the usa?
My best guess is that season 13 will be available to US viewers no sooner than next spring or summer as it first has to finish airing on CBC for it to start airing outside Canada.
